I enabled video support both for videos uploaded directly to the website or embedded from other websites.

I found a better notification module that can work with the taxonomy of my website (under testing). You can now subscribe for email notifications for any topics you want (i.e. for instance Family only). See your personal profile (Notifications / Tags and select the topics you like).
